In the pursuit of beauty and conscious technological advancement, I dedicated myself to the study of new artistic technologies, leading me to the culmination of my studies at Expanded Realities B.A. in Darmstadt, Germany.
Nowadays, I explore the human soul through a VR headset.

Projects

Losing you [Ongoing]

The exploration of the human experience entails the artistic reflection of the heart's most private corners. Rooted in grief, this multidisciplinary project aims to capture various stages of the development of grief along time, from the originary point of it to its apix and its consequences. The development of this project changes with time; the first multimedia products available from this idea are videos rendered on the Unreal Engine, one formated as an Instagram reel, and the next one as a Youtube Story Trailer. At the current time, a VR narrative experience is being developed.

Qapaq ñan

This prototype consists of an abstract narrative experience that aims to teach the history and core beliefs of the indigenous peoples of the Ecuadorian Andes. The crux of this experience is the numerous symbolisms that are not only visually present throughout the experience but also as the structure of the whole experience. Towards the end of the project, user testing was conducted with a total of 16 participants. The targeted context of this piece is that of a cultural museum that could house it and exhibit it, accomplishing the project's main goal: the conservation and divulgation of ancient knowledge through VR.

Unspoken AR

The creation of this project stems from the collaboration of the Hochschule Darmstadt with the company in Hamburg, 'Stifftungs Lebensraum Elbe'. My teammate's and my conceptualization led us to the prototyping of a social media-based AR application compatible with Android mobile devices. With this product, the user could localize themselves in their surroundings using the VPS by Niantic. Then they could leave messages behind in the shape of letters inside bottles, which could then be found by other users who visit that same location.

Polluted Watters

This project is a multiplayer educational experience, result of a University assignment. The experience itself is set to be a collaborative effort with the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPC), a member of the international program EUt+. The approach to this project branches off from the Spanish University fame on the topic of marine engineering and their efforts to address water pollution in the area. In the experience the users are able to cooperate from two different XR platforms in order to learn and engage with the problem through interactions related to real-life situations.
